Italy and kept the ball as a souvenir.
It was signed by every member of the victorious Spain squad. And it appears De
Gea took the opportunity to give his team-mate a nudge towards a move to Old
Trafford.
Thiago was photographed holding the ball with the message ‘Nos Vamos en
Manchester’ — which means ‘see you in Manchester’.
De Gea has spoken openly of his desire for Thiago, 22, to join him in the
Premier League — and Moyes could get him for just £15million.
The Spaniard’s Nou Camp contract includes a £77m release clause. But that
drops to just £15m because he did not play 30 minutes in at least 60 per
cent of Barca’s matches last season.
