He had an immediate impact at the Etihad but eventually faded and went out on loan to Santos before signing for AC Milan

CRESPO actually had a decent first season at Chelsea after signing from Inter Milan.

But Jose Mourinho did not take a shine to him and he went back to Italy on loan at his former rivals AC.

The Argentine played again for Chelsea in 2005 but returned to Inter for two season-long loans before signing a permanent deal.
