Bayern seal Treble with German Cup win
ALL-CONQUERING Bayern Munich have landed a historic Treble after beating Stuttgart 3-2 in the German Cup final.
A Thomas Mueller penalty and two Mario Gomez strikes put Bayern 3-0 up in Berlin.
And despite Martin Harnick’s nine-minute second-half double, the Champions League and German title winners landed a third pot for the season.
They become the first side to win the hat-trick of trophies in German football history.
And it means Jupp Heynckes draws down the curtain on his Bayern career at the very highest level.
The Munich boss is being replaced by former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola next season.
