The Not Quite ‘Done Deal’ XI Of Players Arsenal Almost Bought This Summer
This potential Emirates Stadium side would certainly have ended lengthy silverware drought!
It’s
been a frustrating summer for Arsenal fans. Having gone an eighth
season without silverware and with the promise of a massive transfer
war-chest the Gunners faithful will have hoped that Arsene Wenger was
ready to bring in some much needed additions to boost his Emirates
Stadium squad.
Though Wenger has brought in French Under 20 international Yaya Sanogo, a
free transfer, but the Arsenal manager has missed out on a number of
apparent targets, some of whom were seemingly very close to making the
move to North London, others perhaps no more than a pipe dream.

An
impressive XI. Arsenal fans will hope that Arsene Wenger does bring in
new talent before the transfer window slams shut on September 2nd.
